After Florida took a 7-0 against Kentucky in the first quarter Saturday night, the Wildcats got creative and perfectly executed a fake field goal to tie things up late in the first quarter.
Joe Monsour lined up to attempt a 42-yard try that would have made the score 7-3. But instead of attempting the kick, holder Jared Leet -- whose position is literally listed as “holder” on the UK roster -- tossed the ball over his head, hitting Monsour in stride. Monsour showed off impressive wheels for a kicker and raced 25 yards for Kentucky's only touchdown of the game.
The Florida defense limited the Wildcats to just 178 yards of total offense through the entire game. That's probably why Kentucky felt compelled to go for a fake instead of three points. Thanks to Matt Jones rushing for 176 yards and a TD, the Gators won 24-7.
