Johnny Manziel can throw the football accurately even when he’s blindfolded
Texas A&M already tried one "Is there anything Johnny Manziel can't do?" stunt when it let the quarterback try an extra point last season. Maybe Manziel has stumbled upon another one.
Perhaps the Aggies can send out Manziel for a series or two blindfolded this season. Apparently it doesn't affect his accuracy that much.
In a story from longtime NFL writer Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram (she also tweeted the picture to the right), she explained how quarterback guru George Whitfield Jr. put Manziel through a drill in which he was blindfolded and heard a receiver clap three times so he knew where to throw.
And Manziel threw only two uncatchable passes in 29 blindfolded attempts, the report said. Wow.
So, is there anything Johnny Manziel can't do?
“I have always said he has the best antenna in football,” Whitfield said, according to the Star-Telegram. “I think he just proved that.”
The story discusses Manziel's desire to do something that "will never, ever be done again," and he brings up the example of Cam Newton's legendary 2010 season at Auburn. The story discusses Manziel's chances of building a legacy as the greatest college football player ever. That's a possible, especially if he wins a second straight Heisman Trophy.
If he needs anything else to add to his legend, he can always show off his blindfolded skills.
