Texas A&M got a scare early against Mississippi when quarterback Johnny Manziel left briefly Saturday after injuring his left knee.
Manziel was rolling out to his left and jumped to throw a pass on the move. As he came down, he was immediately in pain and clutching his knee, which torqued awkwardly during the sequence. Texas A&M trainers looked at Manziel before he walked off the field gingerly. He was replaced at quarterback by Matt Joeckel and returned for the Aggies' next series with a brace on his knee.
