Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is known for throwing up his usual money sign hand gesture when he throws a touchdown. The college football world went crazy when Manziel did it against Rice after being suspended for a half after the NCAA investigated him for allegedly accepting money for autographed memorabilia.
It has been seven months since that went down, and now Manziel is calling out new Texas coach Charlie Strong for making the same hand gesture in a photo.
“Sorry Charlie, you’re not a part of the regime,” Manziel wrote on Instagram with a side-by-side photo of Strong and himself.
Nothing like stirring up a rivalry, even though Manziel is off to the NFL and the Longhorns and Aggies have no current plans to play one another and rekindle the yearly rivalry that reached its end when A&M joined the SEC.
