Jameis Winston dresses out, warms up and then takes off pads before Clemson game

Jameis Winston took part in pregame warmups before Saturday night's game against Clemson in full pads.

A short time later, however, Winston was seen on the sidelines without his pads.

From the look on FSU coach Jimbo Fisher's face in this video, it did not seem to be a team decision to allow Winston to warm up in his pads.

Unless Winston did something during warmups, it's hard to imagine why there would be a look of disgust on Fisher's face. If Winston did in fact choose to wear the pads himself, it's an incredibly poor decision. But at the same time, we haven't come to expect good decisions from Winston outside of games during his tenure at Florida State.

Winston is suspended for the entire game against Clemson after he yelled an obscene remark on Tuesday while standing on a table at Florida State's student union. He was initially suspended for the first half of the game but the suspension was upped to a full game on Friday night after Winston reportedly did not own up to his actual role in the incident to FSU officials.

Sean Maguire is starting for Winston.
