Iowa State committed its first fumble of the season in the first quarter against Texas, and it was definitely one to remember.
Running back James White took the handoff and was running up the middle when fellow running back Jeff Woody, who was in to block, karate kicked the ball out of his hand.
While White probably should have had a better grip on the ball, it was just one of those freak things that Woody kicked his leg backward while blocking and happened to land square on the ball.
Despite losing the ball on their own 16-yard line, the Cyclones managed to hold the Longhorns to a field goal.
