Heisman Watch: Manti Te’o deserves some love, but maybe not hardware – just yet
Dr. Saturday's Heisman Watch is a fluid list that seems to change every week.
Only two players have kept their status here — West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith and Oregon all-purpose back De'Anthony Thomas — but the competition is getting fierce.
In our opinion, the Heisman currently resides in Morgantown, W.Va., but even Smith, who had been so awesome the first couple weeks of the season, struggled against better competition. His play against the Big 12 will really prove whether he will be that conference's second consecutive Heisman winner.
But he's not the only one from the Big 12 to appear on our list this week.
