With the British Open on the horizon next weekend, American golfer and Auburn alum Jason Dufner is preparing for a trip across the pond, but he wouldn’t make the trip without a new specially-made golf bag.

He tweeted a photo of the bag, which includes the Auburn logo and a No. 43 patch in honor of former Tigers tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen. Lutzenkirchen was killed in a car crash on June 29.

Dufner was a walk-on on the Tigers’ golf team when he arrived on campus and earned honorable mention All-American in 1997 before turning pro in 2000.

Dufner, who won the PGA Championship last year, is currently ranked No. 21 in the world.
