When the pressure was on, Georgia Tech kicker Harrison Butker came through for his team.

Georgia Tech was facing some post-practice wind sprints, but the coaches offered a way out. If Butker could nail a fifth consecutive 50-plus yard field goal, the Yellow Jackets would not have to run.

You know what happens next:

Of course, Butker confidently makes the field goal and the team went absolutely nuts. First Butker, a sophomore from Decatur, Ga., was swarmed by his teammates before the guys headed straight off the field and back into the locker room before the coaches changed their minds.

Running back Synjyn Days’ had the best reaction, yelling “We’re going to Charlotte!” into the camera.

The 6-foot-3, 201-pound Butker had a solid freshman season, making 10-of-14 field goals, including two from 49 yards and five total from longer than 40 yards. By the looks of this video, he looks even stronger going into 2014.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 7-6 season in 2013. The team's season kicks off on August 30 at home against Wofford.
