A fox invaded the field at Jones AT&T Stadium during TCU-Texas Tech in Lubbock Thursday night (GIF)
After being stuffed on a fourth and one attempt early in the third quarter while trailing 10-0, TCU was in dire need of a stop against Texas Tech.
Enter the fox?
With 11 minutes to go in the third, a fox somehow got into Jones AT&T Stadium and started running behind the TCU bench, much to the bemusement of the people between the bench and the stands, including the Texas Tech mascot.
The fox tried to make an escape underneath the grandstands to no avail, and even almost walked directly into the waiting arms of Raider Red. (Side note: why on earth, even if you're in a mascot costume, would you bend down and try to pick up a fox? Also, what does the fox say?)
The fox was eventually corralled as TCU forced Tech to attempt a long field goal, which was missed.
