Former Ole Miss QB Maikhail Miller killed in car accident

Maikhail Miller, a former quarterback at Ole Miss, died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday evening.

According to coroner James Anderson in Mississippi's Marshall County, Miller’s SUV overturned and he was ejected from the vehicle.

Miller, 23, was on the Ole Miss roster from 2012-13. He played in two games for the Rebels and rushed six times for 23 yards. He transferred to Murray State in 2013. During his time with the Racers, Miller completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,221 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also rushed for 430 yards and five touchdowns.

His most impressive effort with Murray State came when he had 223 yards and three touchdowns in the 2013 season-opener against a Missouri.
