Florida State ball boy and assistant equipment manager Frankie Grizzle-Malgrat, aka Red Lightning, became an overnight cult idol this season after fans noticed him racing up and down the sidelines to not only collect footballs, but also to congratulate Florida State players after good plays and protect them from opposing players.

But did you know he has a girlfriend of four years? Or a budding rap career? Or keeps gummy worms in his ball boy pullover pouch?

Well, ESPN’s Colin Cowherd gets the lowdown on Red Lightning during his “Cage Confessional” as part of "Colin's New Football Show." It’s a funny interview. Grizzle-Malgrat plays along with Cowherd and proves that it doesn’t take a lot to get famous.

And for more information on Red Lighting, check out Eric Adelson’s profile from Yahoo Sports.
