Ezekiel Elliott throws out first pitch at St. Louis Cardinals game

Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott was back in St. Louis – his hometown – on Tuesday and threw out the first pitch before the Cardinals hosted the Cubs at Busch Stadium.

Elliott, the offensive MVP of the national championship, showed that he has skills beyond the football field by firing a perfect strike.

There wasn’t a whole lot of velocity on Elliott’s pitch, but we’ve all seen enough disastrous first pitch attempts to know that it’s all about just getting the ball over the plate.

The hometown kid may have provided a bit of luck for the Cardinals too as they knocked off the Cubs, 7-4.
