Report: Nebraska coach Bo Pelini leaves stadium in ambulance

ESPN reported that Nebraska coach Bo Pelini left Memorial Stadium in an ambulance after being attended to by team doctors on the sideline during Saturday's game.

Pelini was shown on ESPN cameras having his pulse checked by team doctors on the sideline in the first half. John Papuchis, Nebraska's defensive coordinator, has taken over coaching the team in the second half against Arkansas State. Sean Callahan, publisher of HuskerOnline.com, tweeted that ESPN2 reported Pelini was having "flu-like symptoms."

However, Pelini tried to assuage any concerns by issuing a statement: "Everything is fine, precautionary tests. Proud of our team and I'll be back at work tomorrow."
