A Texas A&M win against South Carolina in the season opener could net some lucky fans free furniture.

The College Station Ashley Furniture HomeStore is offering to write checks for past furniture purchases if the Aggies defeat the Gamecocks by 10 or more points. Purchases have to be made during the store’s kickoff event, which begins on Saturday and runs until Aug. 27, the eve of the game. There is no minimum purchase necessary.

“You can buy just a sofa or a whole new living room,” said Chris Clark, director of marketing for the Wilks Group told the Bryan-College Station Eagle. “If the Aggies win by 10 or more we’ll cut you a check for the amount.”

While this offer might sound too good to be true, well it might just be. The Aggies are 10.5-point underdogs in the game and South Carolina currently holds an 18-game home winning streak, which is currently the longest in the country.

Still, the company bought insurance just in case the Aggies pull off the upset, and if you're in the market for new furniture anyway, what do you hve to lose?
