It's not usually advisable when your quarterback throws all the way across the field. So when your wide receiver does it? Yikes.
After receiving a backwards pass from quarterback Blake Bortles, Central Florida receiver Jeff Godfrey chucked the ball from the left side of the field all the way over deep to the right. And he found South Carolina's Jimmy Legree.
Legree easily stepped in front of the pass and picked it off. The turnover led to a Mike Davis touchdown that put South Carolina up 21-10.
And we're guessing that play is going to be scrapped from the playbook.
