Buffalo struggled in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

Need any proof? Take a gander at this onside kick, which is perhaps the most inept onside kick you'll ever see.

The Bulls had just scored a touchdown to trail San Diego State 42-17 in the fourth quarter and Tyler Grassman attempted an onside kick. Attempted. As he went to hit the top of the ball to get it to bounce immediately up in the air, he succeeded in kicking the top of the ball. And that's about it. He barely grazed it and the ball rolled over before coming to a stop.

After recovering the kick, San Diego State started at the Buffalo 25-yard-line.

The star of the game was San Diego State's Adam Muema, who had 229 yards rushing on 28 carries. The Aztecs won 49-24.
