Barry Sanders Jr. reminded us of his dad Saturday night (Video)

Are awesome running back feet genetic?

Barry Sanders Jr., a sophomore at Stanford, gave us a great flashback to the days of his father, Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders, with this run against Washington State Saturday night.

He left the Washington State defender in the dust after cutting upfield and planting quickly on his left foot.

In case you needed help remembering what his dad could do on the field, you can see the resemblance in just a few plays on this video:

In the fourth quarter Saturday, Junior also went off tackle to the right for a 22 yard touchdown run. He finished with three carries for 34 yards in Stanford's 58-17 blowout win. It was his first collegiate TD.

Senior finished with 15,269 yards rushing and 99 rushing touchdowns. While Junior isn't atop Stanford's depth chart just yet, with moves like that, we could be seeing him in the NFL in a few years.
