A marketing intern was injured during last week's season opener at Arkansas when the pneumatic launcher used to shoot T-shirts into the stands discharged while lying on the artificial turf.
The accident led school officials to suspend use of the launcher this week when the Razorbacks play Samford in Little Rock.
The Associated Press reported a loud explosion was heard from the southeastern corner of Razorback Stadium during the first quarter and medical personnel responded to the area and removed a person on a stretcher.
The school did not identify the injured man and didn't comment on the incident beyond saying that use of the launcher has been suspended.
