Texas may not be going to court over the lawsuit with Oklahoma State.

According to HornsDigest.com,Texas has started the process of settling the $600,000 suit. The suit is part of a contract dispute with Oklahoma State and current Texas assistant coach Joe Wickline. The school brought the suit against Wickline as part of a breach of contract claim.

Wickline left his post at Oklahoma State and went to Texas when Charlie Strong was hired before the 2014 season. As part of his contract, he had to be the primary play-caller at his new employer, otherwise he owed the university a buyout.

    From Horns Digest:

Perrin said Saturday he was reading pleadings in the case. And on Monday, sources said, Ohlendorf reached out to Ok State attorneys about their willingness to settle.

The suit is expected to be settled for roughly $300,000 by the end of the month, sources said.
