Sophomore defensive end Ebenezer Ogundeko, who was dismissed from Clemson on May 19, tweeted this past weekend that he’s found a new place to play.

Ogundeko announced he would continue his career at Tennessee State, a member of the Football Championship Subdivision. He will be eligible immediately.

Time to start my new journey at TSU. God is good and I thank you for another opportunity. #blessed #TSU

Ogundeko was dismissed from Clemson after he was arrested and charged with one count of financial transaction fraud. According to police, Ogundeko had manipulated the magnetic strip on the back of his own credit card so that it was actually charging a different card number than his own.

    Ogundeko’s case is still ongoing.

Linebacker Frank Shannon is apparently back with Oklahoma, according to a tweet by teammate Zack Sanchez.

Shannon had been suspended from the Sooner program since last summer for violating the school’s Title IX sexual misconduct policy.

Shannon was never prosecuted in a criminal court.

Shannon fought the suspension in court and was able to remain with the Sooners during that process. While he did practice, he never played in a game. In September, the Oklahoma State Supreme Court ruled Oklahoma could uphold the suspension and Shannon was removed from the university.
