Uni-fail: Kansas State misspells guard's name on his jersey

Add spelling to the list of things Kansas State hasn't done well so far this season.

Whoever was responsible for stitching the players' last names on their jerseys before Saturday's road game at Texas A&M made a rather blatant error on Shane Southwell's uniform. The white lettering on the back of the freshman guard's purple jersey read "SOUHTWELL."

Spelling issues were the least of Kansas State's worries on an afternoon when they lost 64-56 to the Aggies to fall to 1-4 in Big 12 play. Texas A&M shot nearly twice as many free throws as the Wildcats, held Kansas State to 40 percent shooting and limited Jacob Pullen to an inefficient 21 points on 7 of 19 shooting.

Southwell has received more playing time recently, but he struggled on Saturday, scoring four points before fouling out in just 10 minutes.

Of course, there was a silver lining to that ugly stat line: At least he wasn't on the floor long enough for the Texas A&M crowd to notice his name was spelled wrong.
