One Shining Moment for some, one giant downer for Tubby Smith and Ben Howland
"One Shining Moment" never gets old, though the 2013 version was short on buzzer beaters and long on, well, if you're Tubby Smith or Ben Howland, it was just long after the 58-second mark. That's when the two now fired coaches were shown shaking hands while Luther Vandross sang out, "Time is short."
Anyway, it reminded us of Dunk City, Marshall Henderson and Harvard. Remember, they won.
