North Carolina recruit on Coach K: 'He looks like a rat'

North Carolina and Duke won't renew their rivalry for another 10 months, but recruits from both teams traded friendly jabs during the walk-up to the McDonald's All-American game.

Flanked by fellow North Carolina recruits Harrison Barnes and Kendall Marshall and Duke-bound Kyrie Irving, future North Carolina guard Reggie Bullock told DraftExpress that the Tar Heels would win next year because the Devils have "sorry wing players."

A smiling Irving responded quickly by bringing up which team was playing for a national championship this weekend and which team finished 11th in the ACC and is playing in the NIT.

"I was proud of North Carolina this season," Irving said, voice dripping with sarcasm. "They had a tremendous season. It was amazing to watch them on TV. They played so hard every night. They put on a show every night for me when they lost by 30, 25, 40, 15. You guys got rolling at the end of the season. It was amazing."

Not to be one-upped, Bullock had his retort ready when DraftExpress later asked whether he was concerned Mike Krzyzewski would use his comments as bulletin board material before next year's game.

"We're going to have signs about him too -- that he looks like a Rat," Bullock joked, before a mortified Barnes grabbed the mic.

"Please retract that comment," Barnes said. "I did not say that. Don't listen to this guy. He did not take his medicine today."

The best part about these videos is that these four kids have obviously developed a great friendship. Let's hope that survives even after they're wearing different shades of blue.
