Duke Mondy hits buzzer-beater to give Oakland much-needed win (Video)
Oakland is struggling through a tough season with just eight wins, but senior Duke Mondy gave his teammates a moment they'll never forget Saturday when he hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat Illinois-Chicago 76-75.
Mondy received the inbound pass with 4.4 seconds to play and drove to the opposite end where he stopped and popped a 3-pointer to give his team its third victory in the Horizon League and keep Illinois-Chicago winless (0-7) in the league. Mondy scored 11 points and made six steals in the game.
His game-winner was one of the best moments from a busy late-January Saturday in college basketball. Enjoy.
