Once in a while, a prolific shooter will get into a groove where he simply cannot miss. We’ve seen it this year with someone like Creighton's Doug McDermott, and we’ve seen it in the past with guys like Jimmer Fredette while he was at BYU and Steph Curry while he was at Davidson.

Lloyd Strickland of Red Deer College in Alberta, Canada got into one of those grooves.

His team was trailing by seven points with 28 seconds left in the Canadian College Athletic Association and the Kings looked to Strickland with the prospect of winning the game looking bleak. Strickland promptly knocked down four straight three balls, the first with 25.9 seconds left on the clock and the last with 5.6 seconds remaining, as his team desperately tried to close the gap.

Despite Strickland’s heroics, the Kings fell to Langara, 88-86
