Terrelle Pryor more than a quarterback to Seahawks

By most regards, it was a curious decision for the Seattle Seahawks to trade for former Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor. With Russell Wilson at the helm and Tarvaris Jackson entrenched as his backup, it seems Pryor would have a significant uphill battle just to crack the roster. Not if he plays a different position.

“We’re always trying to improve competition at every position,” Seahawks general manager John Schneider said. “And we saw this as an opportunity to do that.” But the GM wasn’t confident in saying Pryor will take snaps at any other position than quarterback. Mike Florio is all for the idea and says if any coach could get a player to do this, it’d be Pete Carroll.
