The tale of the 350lb Notre Dame QB

When in doubt run the ball. That’s the motto of Notre Dame defensive tackle Louis Nix, who showed off his ability to run a quarterback draw. In Notre Dame’s annual Blue-Gold spring game, head coach Brian Kelly sent out “Irish chocolate” to convert a two point conversion. Nix took the snap, faked a pass and rumbled into the endzone. Sure this was in a meaningless game, but is it unreasonable to think Kelly couldn’t call this play at some point during the season?
