If you were tired of the debate between Miguel Cabrera and Mike Trout for MVP last season, do yourself a favor and buy a pair of earplugs for the next couple of months. For the second year in a row, both players have assumed the roles of the two best players in the American League and - also for the second year in a row - the debate between traditionalists versus sabermetricians will be hotly contested.
Trout, who posted an OPS nearing 1.000 while leading the league in runs and walks, joined Carolyn Manno (@carolynmanno) and Dave Briggs (@davebriggstv) on SportsDash to discuss the award. Despite his incredible performance in 2013, the 22-year-old Trout believes the MVP will go to Cabrera.
