Position statement: Never-ending cap struggles

The 2013 salary cap has been set at $123 million, which is a 1.9% increase over last year. Mike Florio points out that the salaries paid to the best players are increasing more than just 1.9% from year to year, and there will continue to be cap struggles as long as the salary cap increases don’t happen faster.
