PFT Live: Buccaneers ship Mike Williams to Buffalo for draft pick

Returning to West New York where he played college ball at Syracuse under current Bills coach Doug Marrone, Williams has had a rough go in the headlines as of late after reportedly being stabbed in the leg by his brother. Tossing that aside for now, Mike Florio believes the receiver can become a dynamic weapon for E.J. Manuel and his new team – if he can get past his off-field woes.

As if the Bucs needed even more incentive to move the embattled pass catcher, they also won’t be hit with a cap charge in the trade. Williams had no signing bonus in his deal that will pay him $1.8 million this season.
