Mad Dash: Royals fans fed up over $1 hot dog night

The Kansas City Royals are flying high to start the 2015 season, kicking off what appears to be a solid encore to last year's American League title. However, the hot dogs at Kauffman Stadium do not appear to be championship-level fare. A wave of photos hit social media following what fans considered to be a horrifically subpar $1 hot dog night at the ballpark. The team's food vendor Aramark has defended their dogs, but it's not the first time they've been in hot water over the way they do business in Kansas City.

The Atlanta Hawks and their fans are all-in on the team's title push, and even made giveaway shirts. One problem though, when listing all the members of the team on the shirt, they just happened to leave off Jeff Teague. Whoops.

Oklahoma City guard Dion Waiters and Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade do not especially look alike, but both are part of the same viral story thanks to a fan who thought she was taking a picture with Wade, but actually was standing next to Waiters. We can only give a tip of the hat to Waiters for being so cool about it.
