Mad Dash: Ohio State receiver goes off on Alabama

Ohio State receiver Michael Thomas has zero love for Alabama, and he let the world know on Monday, posting a series of tweets to make the case that the Crimson Tide are overrated and shouldn't be ranked so highly by the College Football Playoff committee. Alabama's Cyrus Jones kept his retort short and sweet, and while we must remain neutral in this Twitter beef, we'll admit that while Thomas is obviously biased, the charts he used certainly don't make Alabama look great. That said, it's pretty obvious that given the choice, any team in the playoff right now would rather open it against anyone other than Alabama. Which you don't need a chart to understand.

In case you were wondering if Rasheed Wallace still has the magic touch, check out the video Brandon Jennings shot of 'Sheed at North Carolina. Wallace shoots a ball with both arms, and both find the net like it's nothing. Money in the bank. And he did it without the signature headband, so we'll award pointless bonus points for that.

The big Army-Navy game is coming up, and it always includes a slick uniform modification or two. This year, Navy unveiled custom helmet paint jobs for each position group on the team. Quaterbacks are aircraft carriers, receivers are submarines, linebackers are cruisers – you get the idea. The hand painted look is nice, but we're still going with Air Force's Thunderbird helmet design as the best armed forces team look.
