Would you turn down a bonus to be officially crowned the world's greatest in your profession? Miguel Cabrera apparently would, reportedly turning down his playoff bonus this year in pursuit of a ring. Granted, it's easy to turn down a playoff bonus of a few hundred thousand dollars when your contract alone is worth $248 million, but a bonus is a bonus.
