Mad Dash: Manning has theory on why his pizza business is booming

Peyton Manning has turned being a dominant player on the football field into being a strong investor and business owner off of it, and one of his more publicized ventures is his ownership stake in a number of Papa John's pizza restaurants in Colorado. And Manning suspects that recently passed laws in Colorado are helping his business grow. Always sharp on the football field, the quarterback is rarely off his game during interviews, even with tongue is firmly planted in cheek.

Barry Bonds is perhaps the most polarizing baseball player of his generation, but he was also arguably the best. The path to his stardom started at a very young age, like most ballplayers, and he shared a glimpse of that start on Twitter with a photo of his first uniform.

Another cool social media move was Mark Jackson hopping on Twitter to offer a phone call to fans who bought his wife's latest single. What followed over the course of about six hours was a series of deliriously happy and appreciative fans sharing and then getting the call. Now that's a cool record promotion.
