Mad Dash: David Price sends jerseys to his first fans in Toronto

The Toronto Blue Jays and their fans are feeling the excitement with the arrival of Troy Tulowitzki and David Price. Just a few hours after the Blue Jays traded for David Price on deadline day, a young fan was spotted sporting a modified Price jersey by the club's social media team. After Price saw the team's tweet with the young fan, he launched a social media hunt for his first official fan in Toronto so that he could have a real jersey sent the kid's way. The hunt didn't last long as Jennifer Duplessis revealed to Price and the Toronto Star that it was Jake, a friend of her son Noah, who was rocking the impromptu jersey she made for him at home. The Duplessis clan was about to head to Friday's game, but Jake needed a jersey, so Jennifer pulled out the jersey of a player no longer with the team, and used hockey tape to make it a Price jersey. The prize for the creativity is that both Jake and Noah will be getting real Price jerseys, from the man himself, that they can wear for his every start as the Blue Jays chase a playoff spot.

Mark Whitehead is a huge Tennessee Volunteers fan, and so is his son, Nolan. So for Nolan's birthday, with the football season fast approaching, Mark decided to give the family lawn a Neyland Stadium makeover, complete with checkerboard end zones and bright orange pylons. We're guessing the labor of love was as much fun for father as it was son, but Nolan's reaction alone said it all.

Nicki Minaj played a show in Michigan on Friday night, and apparently loved it enough to say Michigan is now her favorite place in the world. The enthusiasm was not lost on Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh, who couldn't agree more. Does this mean if the Wolverines win the national title that Minaj will be there to party like Drake is for every huge Kentucky win?
