Bill O'Brien and the Texans must have plenty of people in their collective ears regarding who to select with the team's first overall pick. Most of these opinions are presumably coming from people within the football industry, except for one that comes from the Mayor's Office.
Annise Parker, the Mayor of Houston since 2010, thinks the Texans will take South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, although she says "she likes the quarterback from Texas A&M."
In response to the prediction, Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Parker ought to consider transitioning into a career in football once she's done with public office.
