If Bryce Harper is going strong, odds are the Nationals are going strong, so his walkoff home run on Thursday night should bode very well for both parties.
The second-year slugger drilled a two-run bomb with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the Pirates and snap a six-game skid for Washington. After failing to drive in a single run over his last 10 games, Harper's 3-for-5, two-RBI performance comes as a much needed boost for Washington, and for Nats fans, hopefully foreshadows good things to come.
