The Crossover’s Michelle Beadle and Dave Briggs are in New Orleans for Super Bowl week. In the first Super Bowl in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina, and the third in the last 16 years, Briggs says the city is putting on quite a show. This is the tenth time overall that New Orleans has hosted, and Briggs says they’ll have to get over their Roger Goodell anger if they want to remain a regular part of the Super Bowl rotation. Beadle says she understands the anger and if she was a Saints fan, she’d never be able to forgive the commissioner either. But people associated with the organization like Sean Payton and Archie Manning have come out and said that the city should give Goodell and the NFL a warm welcome.
