LeBron James and Kevin Durant are practicing basketball together up in Akron, Ohio, and this is good news for those of us that tell us that "we just want our basketball back."
That's what we hear, from most of you. Nearly all of you, at least the those of "you" that we pay attention to. Save for Tom Jane. He just wants his kids back.
So before we get our basketball back, assuming we get it back between now and the next United States presidential election, here's a longish but quite interesting video featuring two of the greatest basketball players in the world practicing the thing that they might be better at more than any other person in the world. Think about that. It's like watching Mt. Everest practice being the tallest mountain, but with much prettier jump shots (though nearly as many annoying Sherpa-types).
You might be sick of the LeBron James hype, and the relentless driving of the "Kevin Durant as antidote"-narrative. Whatever the case, I can't get past the part where we get to watch two of the best in the world practice what they're better at than just about everyone else in the world.
