The final score of Sunday's 105-94 Miami Heat victory over the Dallas Mavericks wasn't completely indicative of the one-sided dominance the Heat came through with in their impressive victory over the defending champions. Throughout the opening day win, the Heat collapsed defensively and found a way to leak out for 31 fast break points in a game that Miami led by 35 at one point in the second quarter.

Nowhere was this more evident than in a stunning third quarter break that saw LeBron James save a not-quite-there alley-oop pass from Mario Chalmers, turning it into a tip-lob to a streaking Dwyane Wade.

You're allowed to be scared of the Miami Heat. Although the first game of a 66-game season is usually nothing to go off of, this was a strong, strong showing in the rematch of last year's NBA Finals.
