Video: Blake Griffin posterizes Kris Humphries for Internet’s favorite dunk

There are few things the basketball-inclined Internet loves more than Blake Griffin dunks. They're exciting, ferocious, and tied to the sort of young, evolving player who makes basketball fans get tingly all over. He's the people's champion, or at least the closest thing we have in today's NBA landscape.

On the other side of the ledger, Kris Humphries is largely disliked by America for his involvement with the Kardashian family, enough so that he ranks as the most disliked player in the NBA. He's so annoying to so many people, in fact, that it'd just be great if Griffin could dunk on him in really embarrassing fashion.

Lo and behold, that exact play happened on Monday afternoon during the second quarter of the Clippers' 101-91 win over the Nets. Watch it above, root on the good guy, and boo the tabloid star. The NBA doesn't get more bloggable than this.

Griffin beat Humphries to the rim, its not a posterization. A posterization can only happen when the defender is squared up with the dunker, and the dunker goes over/through him.

Hey Eric I've never heard anyone talk bad about Humphries, as a matter of fact, the many people I have to talked to, envy him. He suits up every night and walks onto the NBA hardwood and plays pro ball. He doesn't have to block Griffin, he is living the dream. What do you do, oh that's right. You write Blog like stories for chump change. How sad you are.

no #$%$ !!!! eric freeman likes to interject his personal feelings all the time ...with slick #$%$ comments ..... but its yahoo what do u expect

They won't get replaced. Their haters love to come and post their hatred. That increases the hit counts to the articles, and, as a result, increases the ad rates they can charge. As long as their haters allow them to charge more money, why on earth would they get replaced?

Blake delivers much more "vicious" dunks than this on a nightly basis, no need to point this one out.

"Blake Griffin posterizes Kris Humphries for Internet’s favorite dunk" - really? favorite by who? I was expecting much more from that title.
      • Jose 4 months ago
Exactly. I was expecting to see Blake jump OVER Kris from the free throw line for a one-handed and blinded dunk like Dee Brown in 1991.

      • John T 4 months ago
Sigh, it isn't because it is a great dunk, it is because he dunked on the least liked player in the NBA. Did you read the story?????

Favorite internet dunk my #$%$ That was weak. Typical Eric Freeman writing.
      • John T 4 months ago
It's not his favorite for its quality, numbnuts, it's his favorite because of who did it, and who was on the receiving end.

Read a story before you comment.

Reading this article is exactly like watching the Kardashians - all hype, no substance, and a biased point of view. This is the exact reason I've stopped coming to Yahoo Sports for information.

I can't understand why everyone dislikes Kris Humphries; if anything we should all hate Kim Kardashian--she's the one who snookered him!!!!! I'd take him that's for sure!

    • Tanna  •  Los Angeles, California  •  3 months ago
Can we all please get off of Humphries N_ts for the Kardashian mess? They plucked him from the streets and used him up and spit him out. For anyone to hate on him because of that joke of a family is just stupid. Yes he didn't look good in some of the clips that I saw, but I realize what editing can do to make someone look bad. Move on and let the man have his career.....

He gets his share of blocks. and at least he challenged the shot. Lotta players would play matador defense.
