Video: Big Baby Davis pulls down his shorts, earns a tech

In his five NBA seasons, Orlando Magic forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis has earned a reputation as one of the league's most outsized characters. The nickname helps, as does the weight, but he also has a special sort of joie de vivre. Which is another way of saying that his coach with the Boston Celtics, Doc Rivers, once compared him to a pet dog. Still, even the craziest player in the league wouldn't be expected to pull his shorts down during a game. Yet that's exactly what Davis did on Wednesday night during Orlando's 85-83 overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs. While leaping to defend an alley-oop to Richard Jefferson, Davis was called for a foul.

Upset, he walked away in disgust and pulled down his shorts, perhaps as a reflex or display of territorial aggression. Thankfully, he had on compression shorts underneath. Davis was called for a technical foul, naturally, but that only made him angrier. I can only wonder what he must have thought after the game. Hopefully he was fully clothed.
