These three guys sell lots of sleeveless shirts

It's time for real talk, people. As I write this post I'm wearing a basketball jersey. It's my best bro's practice jersey from college and I'm wearing it because I have this tendency to sweat too much. Throwing on something light and sleeveless is just what the metaphorical doctor ordered. That being said, I'm not a big jersey-wearing kind of guy. In general, I am pro-sleeves, so a basketball jersey's lack of arm covering is troubling.

Though I'm not alone in this anti-jersey stance, basketball jerseys still sell like mesh hot cakes. In fact, the NBA says that between and the league's main store in New York City, sales have increased 20 percent in the past year. To each his own, I guess.

The league also released its best-selling jersey list. Check it out.

1. Kobe Bryant
2. LeBron James
3. Kevin Garnett
4. Derrick Rose
5. Dwight Howard
6. Dwyane Wade
7. Chris Paul
8. Paul Pierce
9. Kevin Durant
10. Carmelo Anthony
11. Nate Robinson
12. David Lee
13. Brandon Roy
14. Pau Gasol
15. Rajon Rondo

The top two aren't any surprise, are they? Maybe next year, after his jersey change or team change, LeBron steals the top spot. It's after that that things get a little silly.

I get that there are four Celtics in the top 15. That's a huge market with lots of people who like wearing jerseys. But that Nate Robinson is their fourth rather than Ray Allen is pretty surprising. I mean, Nate's only played 12 minutes this post season, it's not like he's Boston's newest star. If people are going to go jersey crazy over every Celtics pick-up, how come Mikki Moore never got his name on this vaunted list? For shame, Boston fans.

And David Lee? That tells you how much star power there is on the Knicks. When your top seller is a rebounding specialist, things ain't great. It's not like salary cap space can wear a shirt. Yet.

One final thing — has anyone ever actually seen someone in a Pau Gasol jersey? Or is including him on this list part of Los Angeles' elaborate ploy to keep Kobe Bryant happy? Seems dubious.
