A look around the league and the Web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: TrueHoop, Hang Time and The Triangle. Ethan Sherwood Strauss, John Schuhmann and Zach Lowe on the Philadelphia 76ers continuing to kick the can, and their chances of winning more than a handful of games in the immediate future, down the road toward big-picture glory.

PF: The Hook and Liberty Ballers. Tom Ziller on one danger of Sam Hinkie's gambit ("You can sell hope in the NBA, especially to sophisticated fans. But you need to sell some tickets, too") and Kyle Neubeck on another ("The wheels keep on turning whether Embiid or Saric take the court or not, and […] time is a resource that you can't get back").

SF: The 700 Level. Enrico Campitelli on Hinkie's assessment of and comfort with the risk of taking Joel Embiid despite the broken bone in his foot, his evident patience, and the patience he's asking of Philly fans.

SG: Eye on College Basketball. Matt Norlander with a great look behind the scenes of Isaiah Austin's amazing moment.

PG: The Triangle. Jason Concepcion on how the run-up to the draft, the draft itself and the furor around impending free agency reveal that "we have entered a world of fantasy basketball brought to life, and this is exactly the way the NBA wants it."

6th: Truth About It and Bullets Forever. Kyle Weidie and Mike Prada are not happy with the Washington Wizards' decision to sell off their second-round pick in Thursday's draft.

7th: NBA.com. Scott Howard-Cooper on how Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker don't have any interest in being considered rivals, and how that is 100 percent out of their control.

8th: The Starters. Trey Kerby nicknames all 60 draftees, which is always one of my favorite things every year.

9th: MinnPost. Britt Robson on Flip Saunders' trying to "hit a home run" with the selection of Zach LaVine, and the odds of the Minnesota Timberwolves' new/old boss striking out in the process.

10th: CSNNE.com. Rich Levine (not LeVine) on the Boston Celtics, one year removed from detonating the Paul Pierce/Kevin Garnett era, and still seemingly quite a ways away from knowing how they want to get where they want to go.
