Pretty much anyone who's paid attention to the NBA over the past two seasons knows that Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry currently stands as the sport's best outside shooter. Armed with a lightning-quick release and seemingly limitless range, Curry set the mark for most three-pointers in a single season in 2012-13 and is currently hitting 44.3 percent of his shots from beyond the arc in 2013-14. It's entirely possible that he'll finish his career acknowledged as the best shooter the sport has ever seen.
No matter how much we acknowledge Curry's greatness from long range, demonstrations of that prowess still can boggle the mind. At Thursday's Warriors practice, Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group captured this video of Curry hitting 14 straight three-point attempts from the right wing:
But that's not all. In Thompson's second clip, Curry hits nine straight threes from the top of the arc before finally missing the 10th try:
So, over two videos, Curry hits 23 straight shots before failing on No. 24. While it's not clear if that streak was truly continuous or just the version of events as captured by Thompson, it's still pretty darn impressive. The kid can shoot.
