The Miami Heat are one of the most dependable highlight-producing teams in the NBA. For the most part, that's because of LeBron James. The league's best player is liable to throw out a special dunk or casually amazing pass as a matter of course. If he doesn't over a full game, then it's something of a surprise.

Sometimes, though, another member of the Heat gets in on the action. On Thursday night against the Golden State Warriors, that player was 18-season veteran Ray Allen. With a bit over 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter, Allen took a pass from Dwyane Wade on a 2-on-1 break and rose over the contesting Kent Bazemore for an emphatic slam, plus the foul.

It was a return to Allen's Jesus Shuttlesworth days, although he has had similarly athletic finishes this season. Let it be a reminder that, at 38 years old, a great NBA player can still wow the crowd.

Unfortunately for Miami and Allen, this highlight came in a losing effort. The Warriors came away with a very entertaining 123-114 win behind excellent performances from Stephen Curry (36 points on 8-of-15 3FG and 12 assists) and David Lee (32 points and 14 rebounds).
