Well, if so, you're in luck, my friend, because GAHHHHHHHHHHH
GAHHHHHHH (Screencap via MkEliteWorksX)
That's Bugs Bunny — sort of! — as crafted by video-game mod maker MGX. The toothsome, vaguely Frank-evoking take on the iconic Warner Bros. character comes to us as part of a mod that enables gamers to play "NBA 2K14" as the characters from "Space Jam," the 1996 film that paired Michael Jordan with the Looney Tunes and, unbeknownst to its makers at the time, would launch roughly 1 million nostalgic blog posts and other items 1.5 decades later.
This isn't the first time the Tune Squad and the Monstars have been brought to a video game system near you — surely you all remember the 1996 release that was available for PlayStation, Saturn and DOS — but it is, as Kotaku's Jason Schreier writes, "the most realistic depiction of cartoons playing basketball we've seen to date," and that's got to count for something. (Plus, I'm pretty sure he even remembered to get Wayne Knight in there.)
And now, without further ado, please feel free to while away the next 11-plus minutes watching disturbingly "real" recreations of Foghorn Leghorn, Yosemite Sam, Lola Bunny, Bugs, Daffy and the rest of the crew throw down in a double-overtime thriller called by the up-to-the-task broadcasting duo of Kevin Harlan and Steve Kerr.
Hat-tip to FTW.
