There's not an especially urgent hook for this one — I just watched this video of Kyrie Irving going mano y mano with a dancing child during a visit to a South African school back in August, and I thought it was great, and I thought you might, too.

Here we go:

Pretty great, right? That kid goes after the Cleveland Cavaliers' All-Star point guard. No fear in his game. Clear eyes, full hearts, nice moves.

Some background: Irving traveled to Gauteng, South Africa, in August to participate in educational programs supported by UNICEF’s Schools for Africa initiative. (Los Angeles Lakers big man Pau Gasol has taken a number of such trips in the past, working with the children's organization as an international ambassador.)

Irving visited with kids and teachers, sat in on classes, played games and generally seemed to have a lot of fun:

“Even with the challenges they face, it was inspiring to see how much the kids want to learn and how hard the teachers are working,” he said. “I saw first-hand how early childhood education and school sports activities are making a difference in these kids’ lives.”

He's taken the experience with him as he gets ready for his third NBA season in Cleveland, as he recently told Mary Schmitt Boyer of The Plain Dealer:

"Being around the kids, that's what it was about [...] That was the main reason I went. My first time there. I can finally say I did it. The special thing for me was going with my father, and experiencing it with him.''

Here's more of Kyrie dancing with kids, because it's great:
