Ball Don't Lie

‘Michael Jordan’ visits Jimmy Fallon, ‘looks different in person,’ sings MJ’s trademark song

With his Charlotte Bobcats out to a roaring 2-1 start in Las Vegas Summer League play, team owner Michael Jordan made a rare talk show appearance on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Monday to talk about top free-agent acquisition Al Jefferson, No. 4 overall draft pick Cody Zeller and what he hopes will be an exciting year of development for the likes of Kemba Walker, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Bismack Biyombo.

OK, that is a lie. This is actually Kristen Wiig in a beige bald cap, a No. 23 Chicago Bulls jersey and some Air Jordans pretending to be Michael Jordan and reminiscing about major moments in Michael Jordan's history about which the star of "Bridesmaids" and the forthcoming "Girl Most Likely" did not know very much. It is twice the fun of watching the real M.J. be salty at people, so watch:

And because Fallon couldn't let his fellow former "Saturday Night Live" cast-member go without an extra bit of improv torture, hit the jump for "Michael" singing his "trademark song" — a bunch of nonsense that eventually leads into a stone-cold summer jam.

Stay tuned to NBC on Tuesday night, when Jimmy welcomes "Anthony Mason" (Horatio Sanz) and acts out a scene from "A Streetcar Named Desire" alongside "Bill Cartwright" (Bill Cartwright).
